Purpose: Reporting to the Associate Director, Account Management, the Account Manager, Admissions drives student recruitment and enrollment growth through relationship-building, lead nurturing, and effective data management. The role supports admissions activities across Alberta Ballet School's programs, including its Grades 7–12 training program, post-secondary training, summer intensives, and audition tours (local, national and international).
The Account Manager, Admissions is the key contact who cultivates relationships between families of potential students during the recruitment, admission and re-enrollment process.
The Account Manager, Admissions consults with Artistic, Marketing and Community teams to ensure smooth operation of day-to-day admissions procedures, as well as capturing data to support KPIs, financial reports, and student/parent communications.

Manage the full cycle recruitment and re-admission processes

Connect and build strong relationships with prospective students and their families

Record keeping, reporting and supporting the adoption of tools to automate processes
Responsibilities:

Drive student recruitment, conversion, and enrollment growth by executing Alberta Ballet School's admissions and recruitment strategy.

Cultivate relationships with prospective students and families through timely, personalized communications that guide inquiries through to enrolment.

Support the administration of immigration requirements for international students

Manage student database and reporting, including student registrations, demographics, and financial status.

Organize and participate in open house tours, viewings, and school events, serving as a compelling ambassador for Alberta Ballet School and its programs.

Communicate financial aid and scholarship options as determined by the School Director and Chief Financial Officer.

Ensure the accurate and timely development and distribution of Admissions materials (Registration Packages, Student Handbooks, Information Sheets) working alongside Marketing to ensure all items are consistent with the value proposition set forward by Alberta Ballet School.

Manage and maintain Alberta Ballet School’s registration databases (Hubspot and ActiveNet) as well as payment processing and financial reconciliation in ActiveNet.

Support Residence Team with record keeping of students in the residence program

Backfill front desk as required

Work Environment:
-
Full-time in-office position based out of the Alberta Ballet School facility (920-12th Avenue SW)
- Regular office hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work to support School activities, performances, student auditions, etc.
- Flexibility in scheduling is required during peak enrolment and performance periods.
Qualifications & Key Competencies:

University degree or related education
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a recruiting or sales-focused environment, preferably in a private school or post-secondary environment, with demonstrated success in achieving enrollment or revenue targets.

Superb verbal communication skills and strong persuasive skills
- Ability to coordinate a high volume of customer stewardship while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic attitude

Experience using customer relationship management software

Sound judgment and decision-making skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for tracking and following up on prospective student interactions
