Overview

We are seeking a skilled and personable Head Spa Technician to lead and deliver exceptional spa services in a luxurious and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various beauty and wellness treatments, with a focus on providing outstanding guest experiences. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring high standards of sanitation, customer service, and product knowledge. The Head Spa Technician will also play a key role in promoting retail sales and enhancing overall guest satisfaction.

Duties

Perform a wide range of spa treatments including facial, waxing, and hair styling.
Deliver exceptional guest services by understanding individual needs and customizing treatments accordingly.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the spa area to ensure safety and hygiene compliance.
Provide product demonstrations and educate guests on skincare, beauty products, and treatment benefits.
Assist with front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting guests, and managing check-in/check-out processes.
Engage in retail sales by upselling products and services to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
Lead by example in maintaining professionalism, hospitality, and excellent communication skills with both guests and team members.
Support team training initiatives to ensure all staff are knowledgeable about current treatments, products, and safety protocols.
Contribute to creating a relaxing atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.

Skills

Proven experience in skincare, body waxing, and hair styling.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with guests.
Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices within a spa or salon environment.
Excellent communication skills for guest interactions, team collaboration, and product education.
Ability to perform retail sales through upselling techniques while maintaining a guest-focused approach.
Experience in front desk operations including appointment scheduling and guest reception.
Demonstrated hospitality skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
Capable of conducting product demos confidently to educate clients about treatment options and skincare solutions.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or treatment needs while maintaining professionalism.
