THE ROLE
The Sports & Facilities Coordinator makes a real, palpable difference in the lives of military members and their families, creating safe environments that not only function flawlessly but also support a culture of health, fitness and sports. It is a role filled with purpose, passion and the power to shape the future of each facility you touch. There’s nothing greater than the challenge of supporting those who serve, members of the Canadian Armed Forces, in a team where dedication goes beyond the game.
Leading a dedicated team, the Sports & Facilities Coordinator is primarily responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities and tasks for the facilities team and advising managers on routine maintenance in all facilities, recommending facility upgrades, designs and requirements.

You will also use your expertise to monitor, evaluate and recommend improvements to the sports programs.
Every day you will need to be organized and adaptable as you use your exceptional computer skills to manage work orders and your budget, schedule the use of facilities and coordinate and organize special events. As a leader, you recognize the importance of communication for success and will cultivate effective dialogue and strong relationships within your team.
