This is a fractional freelance role, fully remote, and aligned with MST for occasional collaboration calls.
We’re looking for someone who will:
- Prospect and follow up with new potential clients
- Manage inbound marketing leads
- Utilize a CRM and manage the sales pipeline
- Cold call to find the decision makers and set appointments!
- Cold and warm calling is a large and effective method of connecting with key decision makers in this role
- Warm call, email and LinkedIn DM nurtured leads.
- Book high intent sales calls for our clients to close

We are seeking a Fractional specialist to join our dynamic team serving the oil/gas/energy sector to start. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving the growth of our partner organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic expansion efforts and enhance our client's market presence across various industries over time.
Duties
- Call, call, call!
- Book cold sales appointments into the client's calendar
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools
- THE ROLE COULD EXPAND LATER IF APPOINTMENT SETTING IS SUCCESSFUL
Experience
- Proven experience cold calling for B2B within a competitive environment
- Cold and warm calling confidence and enjoyment!
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with clients and partners
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite; familiarity with digital marketing tools is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with autonomy
- Experience in oil & gas is preferred
This Fractional position inlcudes:
- Base Pay
- Per appointment set Bonus
- Commission on paid deals
This position offers future growth as more clients require. The successful candidate will be looking to build their own freelance business as a contractor partner to Mercado Growth Partners.
Pay: $20.00-$50.00 per hour
Experience:
- Business development: 5 years (preferred)
- Telemarketing: 1 year (preferred)
