As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing customer relationships within your assigned region. This role combines sales execution, account management, and market development.
You will drive sales across a portfolio of equipment and related solutions within your territory.
You will work to achieve or exceed defined revenue targets.
You will identify opportunities to expand revenue through both direct sales and alternative acquisition models.
You will build and maintain relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
You will develop a strong understanding of your territory, including customer needs and market dynamics.
You will position yourself as a trusted advisor to clients by aligning solutions with their operational goals.
You will develop and manage a robust pipeline of short- and long-term opportunities.
You will maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts.
You will provide regular updates and insights on territory performance and market conditions.
You will maintain a strong understanding of product offerings and competitive solutions.
You will apply value-based selling techniques to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
You will identify cross-functional opportunities to introduce additional products or services.
You will represent the organization in the marketplace and participate in relevant industry activities as needed.
You will stay informed on industry trends, customer challenges, and competitive positioning.
You will follow established sales processes and reporting requirements.
You will provide feedback on market trends, pricing, and lost opportunities to support business strategy.
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate:
Previous experience in sales, account management, or a related customer-facing role is preferred.
Experience working with equipment, industrial, or technical products is considered an asset.
Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
Ability to identify opportunities and develop new business.
Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
