Imagine Wireless (Rogers Authorized Dealer) is seeking an accomplished Business Sales Consultant, Acquisition, who is motivated to be part of a winning team, delivering high-value business through prospecting and closing transformational solutions with executive and C-level decision-makers.
Reporting to the Business Sales Manager, Acquisition, the Business Sales Consultant, Acquisition, is responsible for driving new business growth by acquiring customers for Rogers wireless, wireline, IoT, cloud, and other business solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify new Small and Medium business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and referrals (95% new business development, 5% existing account growth).
- Establish, develop, and maintain profitable relationships with Small and Medium Business accounts.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans and strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Obtain and provide local market intelligence and competitive insights with management.
- Demonstrate the ability to positively influence customers (propose options/solutions)
- Leverage strong prospecting, account management, and closing skills to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as well as other defined sales objectives.
- Document and update Salesforce as required to help the long-term management of our customers
- Submit sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Utilize a consultative, needs-based sales approach to deliver customized business solutions.
- Participate in weekly coaching sessions with the Business Sales Manager, Acquisition to support professional development and territory planning.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of B2B sales and/or telecommunications sales experience.
- Experience with Small and Medium Business customers, preferably in one or more of the following areas: Wireless, IoT, Wireline, Data Centre & Cloud, and Cloud-Based Telephony
- Exceptional skills with productivity tools such as MS Word, Excel, PPT, Teams, Salesforce, Internet search, prospecting tools, and LinkedIn.
- Above-average written and verbal communication skills that translate well in person and on the phone
- Upbeat, self-motivated, positive, resilient, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong business acumen and growth-based selling skills: understanding of customer goals, objectives, and operations.
- Ability to construct a convincing business case, express it clearly and gain consensus around decisions, plans, and actions
- Experience working in a metrics-driven sales environment with a proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.

This is an in-person position based in our Head Office at Calgary, Alberta.
