This position requires the incumbent to work from the Innisfil office and will report to the Controller.

The following are the key responsibilities for the position:

Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Welcome and assist visitors in a professional manner
Monitor and respond to emails
Print, scan, and process documents
Identify Bills of Lading (BOLs) and scan them into the system
Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and electronic
Order and manage office supplies
Process Accounts Payable, including coding and entering invoices
Data entry and maintenance of company databases and records
Provide administrative support to team members as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of accounting experience required
Experience with Sage 50 or similar accounting software
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Experience in the transportation industry is considered a strong asset

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
Detail oriented and able to work independently in fast paced environment while juggling multiple demands
Excellent organizational skills; prioritizes and manages time well
Possesses a high level of professionalism and integrity while maintaining the confidentiality of all organizational related matters
Strong problem solver
