Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Cook to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals and exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of food preparation, safety standards, and restaurant operations to maintain our reputation for excellence in the food industry.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, including meal preparation and food handling procedures
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance on food safety, cooking techniques, and service standards
Ensure all food served meets quality and safety standards, adhering to health regulations
Coordinate with suppliers for ingredient procurement and inventory management
Develop menu items in collaboration with culinary staff, maintaining consistency and innovation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment in compliance with safety protocols
Monitor service flow during peak hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
Uphold excellent customer service standards by addressing guest needs and feedback promptly

Requirements

Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or kitchen supervision within the food industry
Strong knowledge of serving, food preparation, cooking, meal preparation, and food safety practices
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety standards
Prior experience in restaurant or culinary settings preferred
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in all aspects of food service
