About the Position
Fort Equipment and Eastern Powersports are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and curious individual to join our team as a Business Systems Coordinator.
This role is responsible for helping our employees work more effectively by improving processes, reporting, software systems, and communication across the organization. By reducing friction and providing better tools and information, the Business Systems Coordinator will help create a better experience for both our team members and our customers.
Working closely with ownership and staff, the successful candidate will evaluate current systems, streamline workflows, implement improvements, and help ensure new processes and procedures are successfully adopted throughout the organization.

Fort Equipment is a locally owned and operated Kubota dealership that has served the Amherst area for over 40 years. Eastern Powersports, which opened in 2020, represents industry-leading brands including Honda, Cub Cadet, and Echo.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate current software systems and identify opportunities for improvement or better integration
- Work directly with employees to identify challenges, reduce friction, and simplify day-to-day processes
- Formalize, document, and streamline business processes across departments
· Lead the implementation of new processes, systems, and reporting tools by working closely with employees and managers to ensure successful adoption and long-term consistency
- Create and maintain reporting dashboards and key performance reports related to sales, margins, inventory, expenses, and other business metrics
- Help implement and maintain CRM and sales workflow systems
- Assist with marketing and social media reporting and performance tracking
- Review and streamline job descriptions, responsibilities, and workflows
- Help management gain clearer visibility into business performance and priorities through improved reporting and operational structure
Ideal Candidate
We are less concerned with specific industry experience and more interested in finding someone who is:
- Highly organized and process-oriented
- Strong with reporting, spreadsheets, and data analysis
- Comfortable learning software systems and evaluating workflows
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Able to balance analytical thinking with practical implementation
- Self-directed and capable of managing multiple projects
Experience with any of the following would be considered an asset:
- CRM systems
- ERP systems
- Power BI or dashboard/reporting tools
- Process improvement
- Operations management
- Business analysis
- Dealership operations
