Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to create and maintain beautiful landscapes for our clients. The Landscape Technician will play a vital role in ensuring that gardens, lawns, and other green spaces are well-kept and thriving.

Duties

Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to perform landscaping tasks.
Conduct landscape maintenance activities, including trimming, edging, and weeding.
Irrigate plants and lawns as needed to ensure proper hydration.
Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers while adhering to best practices for plant health.
Maintain gardens by planting new flora, removing debris, and ensuring overall cleanliness.
Perform routine inspections of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Experience

Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment is essential.
Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues is beneficial.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Qualification

Landscape Horticulture Diploma (Preferred)
