We're working with ADAM Integrated to find a Facilities/Equipment Maintenance Technician
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Production Department as a Brake Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC hydraulic press brake forming machines to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications. This role is crucial for ensuring precision, efficiency, and quality in our manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
What you do:
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC hydraulic press brake forming machinery.
- Read and follow job processing instructions.
- Maintain accurate logs of production activities and output.
- Load and unload brake forming tools.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize forming quality and accuracy.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the brake machinery and work area.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues that arise with the equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
- Work in a structured organization with minimal supervision and a positive attitude.
- Maintain positive working relationships with other company employees.
What you bring:
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- A strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
- The ability to read and interpret job instructions and technical drawings.
- A good understanding of math and measurement.
- Familiarity with different metals such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum is a plus.
- The ability to be trained and certified to operate material lifting equipment safely.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- You can handle many tasks at the same time and meet deadlines, while keeping cool.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials when necessary.
- Great communication skills in English – you listen first, then share knowledge. This goes for both speaking and writing.
- You’re approachable, positive and enthusiastic.
- A good team player attitude, even when things get a little crazy. But you’re just as comfortable working solo.
- Flexibility to work overtime if required.
