Full job description

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Associate to join our client's growing team in Kanata. As a key member of the overnight shift, you'll play a vital role in driving success and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Required Skills and qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb throughout your shift
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Comfortable using computers to manage inventory records, including transactions and data entry
Ability to write and respond to emails and queries from other departments
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Commitment to following all health and safety protocols as dictated by the company and government agencies

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations, including packaging, labeling, stacking, and organizing pallets and bulk items
Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed
Report any damaged or missing inventory to management promptly
Process material kits by gathering inventory, verifying accurate counts, and delivering required inventory to production areas
Ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date through cycle counts, transactions, and MRB processes
Operate machinery such as scales, counting machines, pallet jacks, and forklifts safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and safe workspace by removing debris and safety hazards from aisles
Work as an active team member to complete team goals

The starting wage for this position is $20.90 per hour, consisting of a base rate of $19.00 per hour plus a 10% afternoon shift premium.
