Title: Licensed Practical Nurse, Long Term Care
Location: British Columbia sites including: Penticton, Kamloops, Kelowna, Trail, Castlegar, Nakusp, Nelson, New Denver, 100 Mile House, Keremeos, Invermere, Princeton and more
Type: Travel Contract | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts
Pay Range: $42 - 52/hour, T4 or incorporated options
As a Long-Term Care LPN, you'll play an essential role in supporting the health, comfort, and well-being of residents. Working as part of a collaborative healthcare team, you will:

Deliver safe, compassionate, and resident-centered nursing care

Administer medications, treatments, and wound care in accordance with established care plans

Monitor and document changes in residents' physical and emotional health

Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing clinical observations

Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, allied health professionals, and care aides to coordinate resident care
-
Support residents with chronic disease management, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care when appropriate

Educate residents and families regarding care plans and health needs

Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health records

Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment while adhering to infection prevention and control standards

Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program

Minimum 1 year of recent Long-Term Care experience (travel nursing experience is considered an asset)

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Medication administration and clinical assessment experience
