We're seeking an energetic, compassionate, and visionary Registered Nurse (RN) to lead a well-established Long-Term Care home in beautiful Athabasca, Alberta . What You'll Do
As Executive Director, you'll oversee every aspect of the home's operations while empowering your leadership team to deliver outstanding care and service.
You'll:
- Inspire and mentor an exceptional multidisciplinary leadership team.
- Foster a culture where residents come first and employees feel valued, supported, and empowered.
- Champion excellence in quality of care, resident satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
- Lead strategic planning, operational excellence, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and resource planning to ensure long-term success.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, physicians, community partners, and healthcare stakeholders.
- Drive employee engagement, recruitment, retention, and leadership development.
- Ensure compliance with provincial legislation, accreditation standards, infection prevention and control practices, and organizational policies.
- Lead with confidence through change while continually looking for opportunities to innovate and improve.
What You Bring
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BScN).
- Progressive leadership experience within Long-Term Care, Seniors Living, or healthcare operations.
- Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams and complex healthcare environments.
- Strong operational, financial, and strategic leadership abilities.
- A collaborative leadership style with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for developing people, strengthening culture, and delivering exceptional resident experiences.
- Experience with budgeting, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and organizational performance.
A Master's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field is considered an asset.
