THE ROLE
The Property & Maintenance Manager role is for an experienced and ambitious leader. With multi-trade knowledge and utmost attention to detail, you will be responsible for directing the efficient operations and hands-on maintenance of Scotlynn facilities and special projects. You will lead various teams, coordinate contractors, and ensure all work meets building codes, safety standards, and operational requirements.
How You’ll Do It
- Planning, overseeing and executing new construction, renovation and maintenance of projects
- Daily supervision of general labourers, trades, and subcontractors
- Oversight of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, and mechanical building systems
- Ensuring building systems are functioning properly and safely
- Ensuring the facilities comply with all relevant laws and regulations
- Conducting and documenting inspections, permits, and compliance reports
- Managing facility maintenance programs for buildings and grounds
- Coordinating vendors, materials, and equipment

You’re a field‑first construction leader who knows how to run a site, drive performance, and keep crews focused on delivering safe, high‑quality work.
Successful Scotlynn Candidates Have:
- Site leadership: Supervisor, Foreperson, Lead Hand, Coordinator
- Strong communication (written & verbal)
- Attention to detail; trustworthy, reliable, adaptable
- Works independently and in a team
Preferred, But Not Required:
- Multi‑trade skills (carpentry, electrical, mechanical, concrete, finishes)
- Red Seal (Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Millwright)
- Working at Heights, WHMIS, First Aid/CPR
- Blueprint reading
- PMP/Gold Seal (asset)
- Lift equipment certs (scissor/boom/forklift)
