Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Dishwasher/Prep Cook and become a vital part of creating memorable dining experiences! You’ll play a key role in supporting our culinary team by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas are spotless, organized, and ready for service. Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment through thorough washing and sanitizing.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies to support chefs.
Ensure all work areas are kept tidy, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Support the kitchen team during busy service times by efficiently managing dishwashing duties and prep tasks.
Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination.
Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to maintain an eco-friendly kitchen environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely food service.

Requirements

Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling, and sanitation standards.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy pots or boxes.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality service.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques or kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment at all times.
