Full job description

Join a Growing Hospitality Company

Lixi Group is a privately owned hospitality company operating a portfolio of hotels across Canada and the United States. Our team is entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and committed to excellence. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Payroll Coordinator to join our Finance Team at our Montreal Head Office.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities, and contributing directly to the success of a growing hotel ownership and management company.

Accounts Payable

Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation..
Prepare and process payments via EFT, wire transfers, ACH, and cheques.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate vendor records and payment schedules.
Ensure timely payment of suppliers, utilities, franchise fees, insurance, property taxes, and other operational expenses.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

Payroll Administration

Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now.
Verify employee hours, vacation balances, statutory holiday pay, and payroll changes.
Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.
Maintain employee payroll records and confidentiality.
Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers.
Assist with payroll reconciliations, remittances, and year-end reporting.
Work closely with Human Resources and hotel management teams to ensure payroll compliance.

What We're Looking ForQualifications

Minimum 1 years of Accounts Payable experience.
Payroll processing experience required.
Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred.
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and payroll processes.
Experience in hospitality, property management, or multi-location businesses is an asset.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional communication skills in English.

Comptes payables

Traiter un volume élevé de factures fournisseurs avec exactitude et efficacité.
Vérifier l’imputation comptable des factures, les approbations requises et les pièces justificatives.
Préparer et effectuer les paiements par transfert électronique (EFT), virement bancaire, ACH et chèque.
Effectuer les conciliations des relevés fournisseurs et résoudre les écarts.
Maintenir à jour les dossiers fournisseurs et les calendriers de paiement.
Assurer le paiement dans les délais des fournisseurs, services publics, frais de franchise, assurances, taxes foncières et autres dépenses d’exploitation.
Soutenir les audits internes et externes en fournissant la documentation requise.

Administration de la paie

Effectuer le traitement de la paie bihebdomadaire à l’aide du système ADP Workforce Now.
Vérifier les heures travaillées, les soldes de vacances, les jours fériés payés et les modifications liées à la paie.
Assurer l’exactitude et le respect des échéanciers de traitement de la paie.
Maintenir à jour les dossiers de paie des employés et assurer la confidentialité des informations.
Répondre aux questions des employés et des gestionnaires concernant la paie.
Participer aux conciliations de paie, aux remises gouvernementales et aux activités de fin d’année.
Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les Ressources humaines et les équipes de gestion des hôtels afin d’assurer la conformité des processus de paie.

Profil recherchéQualifications

Minimum d’un (1) an d’expérience en comptes payables.
Expérience en traitement de la paie obligatoire.
Expérience avec ADP Workforce Now fortement souhaitée.
Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) ou universitaires en comptabilité, finance, administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe.
Bonne connaissance des processus de comptes payables et de paie.
Expérience dans l’industrie hôtelière, la gestion immobilière ou un environnement multi-sites constitue un atout.
Excellente maîtrise de Microsoft Excel et de la suite Microsoft Office.
Excellentes aptitudes en organisation et en gestion du temps.
Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités et à respecter les échéanciers.
Grande attention aux détails et souci de l’exactitude.
Excellentes habiletés de communication en anglais.
