Join Northplex Ltd. as a Production Supervisor and take ownership of day-to-day production performance in a fast-paced modular home manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide teams, manage workflow, and ensure homes are built safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Northplex Ltd. is a modular home builder serving Western Canada. From our 150,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled facility in Barrhead, Alberta, we build high-quality homes using efficient production-line processes and strong teamwork.
We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead one or more departments on the production floor and ensure daily schedules, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently met.
What You’ll Do
Production Leadership
- Lead and supervise assigned production departments
- Ensure daily and weekly production schedules are completed on time and on budget
- Allocate labour and resources effectively to meet production demands
- Coordinate workflow between supervisors and departments
Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute production plans aligned with management objectives
- Monitor labour, materials, and timelines to keep production on track
- Support purchasing and inventory planning for production needs
Quality & Standards
- Ensure all work meets Northplex quality standards and applicable building codes
- Promote a strong focus on craftsmanship, accuracy, and consistency
- Address issues quickly and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Support and promote a strong safety culture on the production floor
Team Leadership
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and feedback to team members
- Support employee development, training, and cross-training
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and positive morale
- Help build strong, capable production teams for long-term success
Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with other supervisors and management on process improvements
- Identify inefficiencies and help implement better ways of working
- Contribute to ongoing operational improvements across departments
What We’re Looking For
- Strong leadership experience in construction or manufacturing environments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Hands-on, practical leadership style (comfortable on the production floor)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accountability, integrity, and decision-making ability
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years in the construction industry
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
- Experience leading teams in a production or manufacturing setting is an asset

Important Note
This role requires an active, on-site leadership presence in our Barrhead facility.

- Remote or hybrid work is not available
- Candidates must be able to reliably commute or relocate
