Pembina Hills School Division provides education to approximately 3600 students in 16 community schools including two Hutterite Colony Schools and two outreach schools. Located approximately 120 km northwest of Edmonton, Barrhead Composite High School (BCHS), is a grade 7-12 school.

The Position
The successful candidate will provide one-on-one academic support to a variety of students, as well as providing small group and/or classroom assistance to a range of student needs. Hours of work will be Monday-Friday hours 33.5 hrs/week following the school calendar. Duties are to commence August 27, 2026 and will end June 24, 2027.
Qualifications
- Ability to set clear boundaries, communicate effectively and efficiently and work independently
- Ability to work in a flexible learning environment
- Ability to establish positive relationships to support students in grades 7-12
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and adults
- Must demonstrate the ability to work as a member of the school team, taking direction from the classroom teacher, special education lead teacher, and consultants
- Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed
- SIVA training would be an asset
First aid would be an asset
