Job Description
We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensed in Alberta who thrives in a tech-enabled environment and is committed to delivering high-quality virtual care. This part-time, remote position focuses on providing telehealth consultations to patients across Alberta, with the potential to support additional provinces based on licensure. You will assess patients, manage treatments, prescribe medications within your scope of practice, and document care in our electronic medical record (EMR) system. Collaborating closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals will be essential to ensuring a seamless patient experience.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal, written, and digital communication skills
- Previous experience with telemedicine or virtual care platforms is an asset
- Strong commitment to patient care, safety, and clinical quality
- Highly organized and comfortable managing digital workflows in a fast-paced environment
Key Requirements:
- Active registration and in good standing as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Authorized to prescribe medications in Alberta
- Familiarity with Alberta healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and virtual care standards
