Location: 2214 9th Line, Bradford, ON L3Z 3T1
Time: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. 3 days in office and 2 days on site in Southern GTA
Compensation: CA$80,000.00-CA$95,000.00 per year

Job Summary:
Reporting to the president, the Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a safe work environment by developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures, monitoring compliance with occupational health and safety (OHSA) regulations, conduct risk assessments, and provide training to employees to prevent workplace hazards and injuries.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Carry out inspections of workplaces/jobsite to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, health and safety policies and programs
· Make recommendations and develop corrective actions with the project team for non-compliances and ensure follow-up for reporting to management
· Investigate and assist in responding to health and safety incidents and assist in completing investigations, reporting and corrective actions
· Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies, practices and procedures
· Assist in the development and delivery of employee’s orientations and training programs.
· Assists in the preparation of reports, documents and forms as required by the health and safety program
· Assist in carrying out performance audits
· Assist in managing Return-To-Work programs
· Complete additional assignments and responsibilities as requested by Health and Safety Manager or Senior Management
· Take minutes of meetings as required and distribute them appropriately. - Organize and coordinate workshops and training events as directed by the Health & Safety Manager

· Other duties as assigned.
Our ideal candidate:
· Valid Driving License is required
· NCSO designation is required
· 2-3 years of experience working in a similar role
· Experience working in construction industry is a plus
· Degree/Certificate in related field
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· A strong passion for fostering a safe work environment
· Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals
· Strong PC skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
· Able to work under pressure with time constraints.
