Overview
The Food Truck Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Stacked Food Truck, ensuring it is properly maintained, stocked, staffed, scheduled, and ready to operate at events and other bookings. This role will take ownership of the food truck’s day-to-day needs, including coordinating bookings, sourcing new event opportunities, managing supplies and equipment, and ensuring each event runs smoothly and represents the Stacked brand to a high standard.
Duties and Responsibilities
Food Truck Operations
- Take full ownership of the day-to-day operation and overall readiness of the Stacked Food Truck.
Events & Bookings
- Source and identify new events, festivals, corporate functions, community events, and other opportunities for the food truck.
- Coordinate all food truck bookings and maintain an organized event calendar.
- Communicate with event organizers and ensure all event requirements are understood and completed.
- Coordinate logistics including event times, locations, setup requirements, parking, permits, and other needs.
- Ensure the food truck is properly prepared for each event.
Staffing & Event Execution
- Coordinate staffing requirements for each event and ensure team members are scheduled and prepared.
- Provide direction and support to food truck staff during events.
- Attend events as required and oversee the operation of the truck.
- Ensure customers receive a positive experience and that the Stacked brand is represented professionally.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, event requirements, inventory, maintenance, and expenses.
- Track event sales and provide regular updates to management.
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, profitability, and overall performance of the food truck.
- Proactively address issues and ensure problems are resolved quickly.
- Ensure the truck is clean, organized, stocked, and properly maintained.
- Coordinate food, packaging, equipment, supplies, and inventory requirements.
- Monitor the condition of all equipment and coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Ensure the truck meets all company, food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, catering, events, or food service.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence is required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
