The Creative Services team produces creative content to support both summer programming, and plan ahead for Fall/Winter programming. Working in small groups, and serving all departments, youth in these roles develop confidence and begin to master skills used in their analysis, problem solving, communication and overall participation in the workplace. These roles are progressive over the summer and youth are afforded as much scope and responsibility as they are willing and able to handle. It's a great way to 'level up' in a team setting where your voice and opinions genuinely make a difference daily.
Full-time summer employment contracts range from 8 -16 weeks, May through September. Post-secondary students are welcomed and encouraged to apply for this position as part of their programs requirements for a co-op or work placement. Contracts are funded by the Government of Canada, and offered at the Ontario minimum wage. Please be aware that all positions may not be funded in all locations.
These positions follow a hybrid work structure where employees both work from home and from the office/meet up location(s) as needed, based on demands of specific tasks and projects.
Working from the office/studio or your local meet up location(s) will be required when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration, or in-person supervision.
Training and Workshops for this role may be online or in-person.

Graphic Designer
Graphic Designers create and edit graphic resources as needed for social media and marketing assets, internal and external-facing videos, and educational materials (print and digital).
Copywriter
Copywriters write and edit clear, concise text for various initiatives, including grant applications, social media and marketing assets, internal and external-facing creative content, and educational materials (print and digital).
Video Editor
Video Editors create and edit video content for various initiatives, including social media and marketing assets, internal and external-facing creative content, and educational materials (digital).
Typical Work Hours
Regular hours Tuesday - Sunday
Rotational coverage for Mondays, evenings, and weekends as scheduled
