About Us:
Connecting Dots Foundation (CDF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality, inclusive childcare services across Canada. We focus on creating nurturing environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive while supporting families with accessible and affordable childcare options.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director for our Barrie childcare centre. The Program Director will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), and lead a team of educators in delivering exceptional early learning programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all provincial regulations, licensing requirements, and CCEYA standards.
Supervise, mentor, and support educators and staff.
Oversee curriculum planning, program implementation, and continuous improvement.
Foster an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff.
Maintain strong communication and relationships with families, community partners, and regulatory bodies.
Manage centre operations, budgets, and documentation requirements.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of staff.

Qualifications:

Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in licensed childcare.
Strong knowledge of CCEYA and early learning best practices.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with families, staff, and community stakeholders.
Current First Aid/CPR certification and clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check.

Experience:

leadership experience in licensed childcare: 3 years (preferred)
