The Grounds Guys Barrie is looking for an experienced gardener or an individual who is eager to learn and who has a passion for the horticultural world. The ideal candidate must be reliable, have an exceptional attention to detail and quality, time management and client relation skills.

Specific Responsibilities:

Perform garden maintenance duties for residential and commercial clients, such as garden edging, cultivating, hand weeding, trimming, pruning, spring and fall clean ups.
Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, mechanical shears, commercial mowers, blowers, line trimmers, and roto-tillers
Address clients' questions, comments, and concerns

Job Requirements:

This position is full time, seasonal
Current G2 or G Driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
Gardening Experience is considered an asset
Flexible hours, the ability to work Monday to Friday, and Saturdays when required.
Willingness to work occasional overtime
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
Steel toe boots/shoes

Rate of pay $20 - $22 per hour depending on experience
