Position Summary
The Back of House (BOH) Crew Member is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and supporting smooth daily operations during high-volume service periods. This role includes grill, fry, prep, and general kitchen support duties, as well as assisting with other responsibilities as needed to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare and cook burgers, chicken, fries, and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
- Prepare sauces, desserts, toppings, vegetables, proteins, and additional ingredients for service
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained at all times
- Portion and label products according to company procedures
- Restock stations and ensure the kitchen is fully prepared for service
Kitchen Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, prep areas, equipment, and storage areas
- Work efficiently during peak service hours while communicating effectively with the kitchen team
- Assist with inventory rotation, stocking, and receiving deliveries as needed
- Support all BOH operations to ensure fast and accurate food preparation
- Assist team members in various kitchen positions when required
Health & Safety
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are consistently followed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Adhere to all company policies and kitchen operational procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask effectively
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and work ethic
- Ability to lift and move kitchen supplies and equipment when necessary
- Food service experience is considered an asset, but training is available

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
