Summary Statement
The Filtration Services Manager is responsible for overseeing all services group,
including a supervisor and general labourers who travel within North America to service
and repair filtration baghouses. This role provides leadership, manages schedules and
resources working in collaboration with sales, ensures compliance with safety and
regulatory requirements, and supports customer satisfaction and operational
excellence. The Filtration Services Manager also plays a critical role in promoting
workplace safety, operational security, and continuous improvement across all service
Activities.
Key Relationships:
Internally: Executive Director, Vice President, Director of Human Resources, Director
of Marketing & Sales, Director of Procurement & Supply Chain, Services Supervisor,
Health & Safety Team and General Labourers.
Externally: Customers, Contractors, Staffing Agencies.
Qualifications:
Education Essential:
➢ Degree in Mechanical or Facilities Management preferred; and will consider 10+
years’ experience on-the-road in a heavy industrial service management role.
Knowledge Essential:
➢ 10+ years in the Industrial Filtration or Industrial Hygiene industry, with a
minimum of 5 years working in a managerial role on the road.
➢ Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations, OSHA, WSIB and on-site
safety meetings.
➢ Experience working in an industrial field services environment.
➢ Working knowledge of baghouses, filtration and HVAC systems, or industrial
service operations.
➢ Proficiency with basic computer systems, reporting tools and online applications.

➢ Ability to work independently as well as cohesively with Senior Managers as well
as general labourers.
➢ Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve conflicts and problems.
➢ Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain a professional rapport with direct

Special Requirements:
➢ Valid G License, and no prior driving infractions to have the ability to drive
corporate fleet.
➢ Valid passport, to travel throughout North America.
➢ Flexibility to travel for long period of time, and on short turnarounds for
emergencies or over holidays.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for travelling frequently within North America to oversee, manage
and participate as part of the Albarrie services group.
2. Collaborate with the sales groups to schedule service jobs, some long-term
shutdown planning, as well as short turnaround due to emergency work.
3. Supervise, inspect and manage the service job jointly with the clients corporate
representatives to perform filtration bag changes, cleaning services and
mechanical reports.
4. Coordinate labour resources through different agencies in both Canada and the
US, to schedule, travel and complete service jobs.
5. Responsible for company fleet and machinery; performing routine maintenance
and ensuring machinery or fleet is services and in working condition and
available for service jobs.
6. Operate machine tools to fabricate parts required during a setup or mechanical
job on a client’s baghouse.
7. Performance manages general labour staff on site, to meet Albarrie’s standards
of quality and work ethic. Partner with Human Resources team, as required for
personnel issues.
8. Responsible for always ensuring a safe work environment, by completing prestart safety meetings, following all legislative requirements and ensuring all PPE
is available for site labour.
9. Complete and ensure service job reporting is completely and submitted to the
administration group in a timely manner.
10. Prepare and complete all expenses in a timely manner, by job and submit
through Albarrie’s expense program – ZOHO.
11. Responsible for creating long term plans from a strategic perspective to increase
volume of service work and availability of crews. In partnership with the sales
group, develop preventative maintenance program for service clients.

➢ Continuous mental attentiveness when performing services at client sites.
➢ Completing time sheets and expenses and entering into client systems.
➢ Continuous mental attentiveness is required for supervising and interacting with
labour and clients.
➢ Frequent mental effort is required in multi-tasking and handling interruptions that
require constant refocusing.
Physical Effort Required to Perform the Job:
➢ Frequently driving and or flying to travel to service sites within North America.
➢ Prolonged periods of standing and exerting while completing service work.
➢ Frequently involved in fixing machinery and repair.
Responsibility for Supervision:
➢ Direct management of general labourers at client sites.
➢ Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with legislation,
environmental policies and company policies.
Responsibility for Resources:
➢ Responsible for services crews while travelling.
➢ Responsible for fleet and machinery while travelling and in storage.
Responsibility for Decision Making:
➢ Determines direction of service schedules and long-term planning.
Working Conditions:
➢ Consistently on the road travelling, via car or air in differing environments.
➢ Works on heavy industrial sites, in non climate-controlled conditions
