Full job description

Peterman Insurance Group is looking for a Part-Time Insurance Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a professional, fast-paced environment.The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our brokerage team and help us manage our growing workload. Previous insurance experience is an asset, but is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has strong administrative skills and a willingness to learn.Responsibilities

Perform data entry and maintain accurate client and policy information
Process and organize insurance documents and correspondence
Assist with policy administration and general brokerage tasks
Respond to emails and assist with customer follow-up
Make and receive occasional phone calls
Prepare, organize, and maintain electronic files
Assist brokers with day-to-day administrative tasks
Follow up on outstanding documentation and information
Provide general administrative support to the brokerage team
Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality when handling client information

Qualifications

Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working independently and managing priorities
Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
Professional and friendly communication style
Ability to learn new software and systems quickly
Previous insurance or financial services experience is an asset, but not required
College diploma or university degree is an asset
Previous administrative or office experience is preferred

What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is reliable, organized, proactive, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is comfortable working independently, and can handle confidential information with professionalism.Insurance experience would be a definite advantage, but personality, work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are equally important to us.Position Details

Part-time: Approximately 12–15 hours per week
Flexible scheduling
Primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings or training as required
Opportunity for additional hours as the needs of the business grow
