Job Purpose:
To coordinate international imports through air, ocean, and rail.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Support company Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) by proactively contributing to initiatives that drive strategic goals and organizational success

Live our company core values and support a well-organized, respectful, and service-focused work environment

Quoting agents and customers on international air and ocean imports

Arrange transport of cargo from customers to ocean carrier or airline

Process paperwork and submit to customs brokers for customs clearance

Book air and ocean shipments

Prepare documentation for import shipments

Finalize files and charges to the clients

Track and trace shipments to destination

Communicate with international agents, commercial accounts, customs brokers and carriers by phone and email

Calculate revenue and costs on shipment files

Professional & Educational Background:

3+ years of related/relevant experience

Dangerous Goods training and knowledge considered an asset

Post secondary education in Supply Chain Management considered an asset

Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)

General knowledge of Canada Customs importing practices and procedures

Communication: Has good listening skills and communicates effectively in both written and verbal formats

Organization: Must be highly organized and detail-oriented when dealing with our fast-paced environment
