We are seeking an experienced Interlock Installer to join our team. As an Interlock Installer, you will play a crucial role in transforming outdoor spaces by creating beautiful and durable interlocking driveways, walkways, patios and more.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of landscape features such as plants, trees, and shrubs
- Operate and maintain various landscaping tools and equipment
- Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance
- Help with the construction of hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in landscaping
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Valid driver's license and ability to get to and from work
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Interlocking Installation:**
- Prepare surfaces for interlocking by excavating, grading, and compacting as needed.
- Install various types of interlocking stones, pavers, and materials according to design specifications.
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and leveling of interlocking materials.
2. **Material Handling:**
- Load and unload interlocking materials and tools.
- Safely operate machinery and equipment such as compactors, saws, and plate tampers.
3. **Quality Assurance:**
- Perform quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure the final product meets or exceeds industry standards.
4. **Team Collaboration:**
- Work collaboratively with the landscaping team to ensure seamless integration of interlocking with other landscape features.
- Assist in coordinating project timelines and schedules.
5. **Safety Compliance:**
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Properly store and maintain tools and equipment.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in interlocking installation is required.
- Knowledge of various interlocking materials and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret design plans.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
