Full job description

If this sounds like you, MacGillivray Injury and Insurance Law is seeking a full-time Intake Paralegal to work based out of our office in New Glasgow, NS.

MacGillivray Injury and Insurance Law is a civil litigation boutique firm representing clients across Atlantic Canada and beyond. We currently have offices located in New Glasgow, NS; Halifax, NS; St. John's, NL; and Moncton, NB..

The Intake Specialist will work as part of our team responsible for doing in-depth client intake calls.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent role-related education and experience

At least 1 year of relevant experience working as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant

Bilingual fluency in both English and French is an asset

Demonstrated customer service experience

Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of speed and accuracy

Proficiency and aptitude for working with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Case Management software

Proven ability to work independently, take initiative and exercise sound judgement

Strong written and verbal communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

Able to be flexible, and adapt easily to change

Experience working in the field of personal injury law is an asset

**Please note: The successful candidate for this role must be able to work in-office at our office located in New Glasgow, NS.
