Automotive Service Assistant / Apprentice Candidate

Auto Master Belleville is looking for a motivated, mechanically inclined person to join our team in an entry-level technical/service role.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has started or completed an automotive college program, has some hands-on mechanical knowledge, or is looking to build a long-term career in the automotive trade.
What You’ll Do
You’ll assist with a mix of shop support, basic vehicle service, parts coordination, and customer/service workflow. Duties may include:
- Assisting technicians with basic repairs and maintenance
- Helping with vehicle inspections, tire/wheel work, brakes, suspension, and general service
- Moving vehicles in and out of the shop
- Keeping the shop organized and efficient
- Helping source and organize parts
- Supporting the Service Manager with workflow and customer updates
- Learning proper diagnostic and repair procedures from experienced technicians
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, eager to learn, and has some automotive knowledge.
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have started or completed an automotive college program
- Have some hands-on experience working on vehicles
- Understand basic automotive systems and repair concepts
- Are interested in becoming a licensed automotive technician
- Show up on time and take pride in your work
- Are comfortable working in a busy shop environment
- Have a valid driver’s licence
- Are willing to learn from experienced technicians
Previous shop experience is helpful, but we are open to training the right person.
Apprenticeship Opportunity
For the right candidate, this position could lead to sponsorship in the Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship program.

We are locally owned and operated by the same owner as Holgate Tire & Battery.
