Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team at Kid's Mondo Childcare Centre Inc. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and safe environment that supports our mission of providing exceptional care and education to children.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of all childcare areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, play zones, and staff facilities.
Conduct routine facilities maintenance to address minor repairs and upkeep.
Follow health and safety protocols to prevent hazards.
Manage cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage.
Collaborate with staff to coordinate cleaning schedules that minimize disruption.
Report any safety concerns or maintenance issues to management.
Support the overall cleanliness standards aligned with our commitment to child safety.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance, preferably in childcare or similar environments.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
High level of reliability and professionalism.
