About Thrive

Thrive Creative Marketing is a strategy-led marketing studio serving owner-operated trades and professional services businesses. Our clients don't want a vendor. They want a partner who owns their marketing the way they own their business — and gets results we can both point to.

We're senior, opinionated, and we move fast. We don't take work we can't do well. We don't take clients we can't serve.

The Role

Execute organic social for a small portfolio of Thrive clients across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. You'll work directly with Jo-anne, our founder and strategy lead. She owns the client relationship, the strategy, the brand voice, and every word that goes out under a client's name. You own the production line — content building, scheduling, platform-side QA, and reporting — that makes the calendar deliver.

You will:

Develop & build monthly content calendars from a structured brief
Produce posts, carousels, and short-form video from supplied raw assets and approved hooks. No invented voice.
Draft captions and hashtags using Thrive’s brief, sized for each platform.
Schedule and publish through Thrive's scheduling tool only after written sign-off on the batch.
Run platform-side hygiene: pixel checks, link tracking, alt text, accessibility, format compliance.
Deliver a clean monthly performance report with plain-English commentary on what worked and what's next.

You're a Fit If

You've run organic social for at least 5 SMB or trades clients with documented engagement and growth outcomes.
You're fast and consistent in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite and scheduling tools
You're comfortable executing against someone else's strategy and brand voice. You don't need to be the face of the work.
You can turn 30 minutes of raw founder footage into a month of platform-native content.
You are a self starter with strong organizational skills
You're async-first, fast on email, and meet deadlines without being chased.
You understand platform algorithms well enough to know when to push back on a hook that won't perform — but you raise it with Jo-anne, not with the client.
You live in Ontario, Canada (Eastern Time Zone).
You have a College Diploma in Design, Marketing, Communications or a related field

You're Not a Fit If

You want client-facing time. We protect that lane absolutely.
You want to manage comments, DMs, or community on the client's behalf.
You bring strong opinions about brand voice and resist using ours.
You only work with big-brand DTC, lifestyle, or enterprise accounts.
You want to post under your own handle, identify as Thrive publicly, or build your portfolio from client work without sign-off.

How We Work

Async by default — email and a shared workspace.
Every content cycle starts with a locked brief. We don't run on verbal-only briefs.
Two revision rounds included per batch.
Every post — caption, visual, hashtag set — gets the founder's written sign-off before it's scheduled.
Approval clock: 5 business days from us. After that, the brief proceeds as drafted.
No posting outside the approved batch. Reactive content goes back through Thrive, no exceptions.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
