Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities. This position requires a commitment to ensuring that all areas are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained, contributing to a positive environment for both employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and surfaces throughout the facility.
Dispose of trash and recyclables properly, ensuring waste management protocols are followed.
Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
Conduct basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure a safe environment.
Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies as they arise.

Skills

Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact with team members and management.
