What You'll Do
As a Physiotherapist, you'll help residents improve their mobility, independence, and overall quality of life by delivering evidence-based rehabilitation services.
You'll:
- Complete comprehensive physical and functional assessments
- Develop individualized rehabilitation and mobility plans
- Deliver client-centered treatment programs
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications
- Supervise and support therapy assistants
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers
- Support falls prevention and restorative care programs
- Collaborate with nursing, recreation, dietary, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Participate in care planning, quality improvement, and resident safety initiatives

What You'll Bring
- Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
- Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
- Experience in long-term care, supportive living, or geriatric rehabilitation is preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working within an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to supervise therapy assistants
- Experience with electronic documentation systems such as PointClickCare is an asset
- Current CPR/BCLS certification
- Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Up-to-date immunizations
