Westform Metals is a family-run metal roll-forming and sheet metal fabrication facility with nearly 50 years of industry experience. We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Millwright to join our maintenance team at our Blackfalds, AB plant.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment and building systems
- Install, align, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery
- Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical specifications
- Directly interacting with our machinery service technical teams.
- Diagnosing equipment failures and perform root-cause analysis
- Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and hoisting/lifting equipment as required
- Perform basic, maintenance and repairs on forklifts highway tractors and trailers.
- Safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. (with or without reasonable accommodation)
- Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
- Commitment to safety and dependable attendance
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (site is not transit accessible)
- Own personal trade tools
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written)
Preferred Assets (Not Required)
- Interprovincial Journeyperson (Red Seal) Millwright certification
- Post-ticket industrial or manufacturing experience preferred
- Flexibility to workday or afternoon shifts as required
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Experience using CMMS systems
- Basic PLC-controlled equipment troubleshooting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Work Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- Day shift (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
- Hours may vary based on operational needs
Salary
- $30-49.00 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
