About the Role

We are seeking a dependable, detail-focused part-time accounting clerk to assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank/cash operations. Responsibilities include both AR & AP invoice entry, customer billing and payment application, preparing deposits, and resolving vendor and customer statement issues.

Key Responsibilities

Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
Handle accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment application, and collections.
Support bank and cash management tasks, including preparing deposits.
Use internal systems and external portals to retrieve and enter transactional data as required.
Communicate with vendors and customers to resolve routine billing and payment issues.

Qualifications

1–3 years of accounting experience with AP and AR responsibilities
Familiarity with invoice entry, PO matching, payment processing, cash application, and bank deposit procedures
Experience with accounting systems/ERPs; comfortable learning proprietary portals
Excel skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills for vendor/customer follow‑up and dispute resolution
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
