Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team! This vital role combines administrative excellence with financial acumen, ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate financial record-keeping. As a key member of our organization, you will manage essential bookkeeping tasks, support administrative functions, and utilize leading accounting software to keep our financial data precise and up-to-date. Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
Maintain accurate records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to verify financial accuracy
Assist with payroll processing, including data entry and compliance with relevant regulations
Reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and preparing financial reports
Handle general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, scheduling, and correspondence

Qualifications

Proven experience with bookkeeping and accounting tasks in a professional setting
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll processes, and financial reporting
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and manage accounts payable/receivable efficiently
Knowledge of budgeting practices and financial statement preparation is preferred
Effective communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
