Full job description

We are currently assisting our client, a leader in helicopter services, in their search for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) M2 for permanent positions in Borden, ON. If you are a skilled professional with experience in Bell-type helicopters, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Perform aircraft inspections, including airframe structures, engines, and components.
Ensure operating and maintenance procedures comply with industry and internal regulations and quality standards.
Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
Test repaired aircraft systems for proper performance, and perform cleaning and lubricating equipment along with other routine maintenance tasks.
Troubleshoot issues and develop corrective actions.
Record problems and actions taken.
Maintain accurate maintenance records of the aircraft.
May act as Crew Chief on certain projects.
Assist in the instruction and training of apprentices.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

Military AVN training on CH-146.
Valid Transport Canada AME "M" Type license.
Minimum 3 years of experience on Bell-type helicopters.
Type endorsement on Bell 412.
Proficient in using electronic and paper-based manuals and navigating vendor data.
Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and aviation standards.
