Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing, masonry, and related construction skills. This role involves working on various projects including commercial, residential, and restoration sites, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. The position offers opportunities for growth and development within the construction industry.

Duties

Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve smooth, level, and durable finishes
Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics to prepare for concrete pouring
Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning materials
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute project specifications accurately
Perform masonry work, including caulking, flooring installation, and restoration tasks as needed
Assist with concrete pouring, curing, and finishing processes on various structures
Use carpentry skills for form building and adjustments during projects
Conduct welding or other metalwork tasks related to reinforcement or structural support when required
Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling hand tools, power tools, and materials
Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining safety standards

Requirements

Proven experience in concrete finishing, rebar installation, masonry, or related construction fields
Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation and power tools
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Strong knowledge of concrete forming techniques and restoration processes
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and flooring installation techniques
Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in various outdoor or indoor environments
Experience with caulking, renovation projects, flooring installation, and general construction practices is preferred
Knowledge of schematics and blueprint reading is essential for precise execution of tasks
Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a focus on safety and quality standards

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
