Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to blueprints and schematics. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, welding techniques, and structural steel to produce high-quality products efficiently. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including structural components, railings, platforms, beams, piling, shoring, and custom assemblies in a dynamic environment.
We are also seeking individuals with Welding Supervisor Credentials.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication specifications
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals with precision to meet quality standards
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances
- Rigging materials and components safely for assembly or installation processes
- Assist with assembly of fabricated parts into final products or systems
- Conduct quality checks on finished work using schematics, calipers, and basic math skills
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols including crane operation and forklift handling when necessary
Experience
- Proven experience and certification in welding (MIG, TIG) within a manufacturing or construction environment
- Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
- Familiarity with machining tools, power tools, hand tools, and plasma cutting equipment
- Knowledge of rigging, crane operation, forklift handling, and associated processes and/or NDT is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material quantities
- Experience working with structural steel, tubing, railing, architectural elements, or similar construction projects is desirable
- Prior exposure to schematics reading and assembly tasks in manufacturing settings is preferred

Pay: $23.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
