Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Front Shop Cashier/Supervisor to join our retail team. This role involves managing daily cashier operations, accounts receivable, providing excellent customer service, and supervising staff to ensure smooth store functioning. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for retail sales. Bilingual skills and experience with technology sales or product demos are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to lead in a fast-paced environment while engaging with diverse customers.

Responsibilities

Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, assisting with product selection, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Conduct product demos and upselling to enhance sales performance
Supervise and support team members in daily tasks, including merchandising, stock replenishment, and maintaining store cleanliness
Manage cashier duties such as balancing registers, processing returns, and handling cash accurately
Maintain organized workstations and ensure adherence to store policies and procedures
Assist in training new staff on POS systems, customer service standards, and sales techniques
Handle phone inquiries professionally using proper phone etiquette
Support overall store operations by managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks

Qualifications

Proven experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
Demonstrated organizational skills and time management capabilities
Experience with POS systems and basic math for cash handling accuracy
Ability to perform product demos and engage customers through upselling techniques
Knowledge of merchandising standards and retail best practices
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a team environment
Technical sales experience or familiarity with technology products is a plus
Multilingual skills are preferred to serve a diverse customer base
