Role Overview:
The Retirement Living Consultant is pivotal in driving occupancy and ensuring that each prospect and family feel supported throughout their journey. You will use a consultative sales approach to help seniors, and their families make informed decisions regarding their next home. As a trusted advisor, you will build relationships and create a welcoming, informative, and caring experience for prospects while meeting and exceeding occupancy goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Drive Occupancy & Sales: Maintain occupancy targets by converting leads into move-ins. Sell suites at market rates with limited discounts or incentives.
· Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with prospects, families, and the community to support informed decisions about choosing a retirement residence.
· Consultative Sales Process: Guide prospects and their families through decision-making using a relationship-based sales approach to provide tailored solutions.
· Lead Generation & Management: Manage and track lead inquiries through our CRM software.
· Marketing Strategy: Execute quarterly marketing plans aligned with the budget to generate qualified leads. Promote and organize outreach and marketing events.
· Outreach & Networking: Cultivate strong relationships with healthcare professionals, referral sources, and the broader community to drive traffic and generate leads.
· Team Collaboration: Champion the sales culture at the site level by collaborating with leadership teams, attending meetings, and providing market insights.
· Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and stay informed about market trends to position the residence and adjust strategies as needed effectively.
· Tour Readiness: Ensure the model suite and tour path are always prepared for prospective residents and their families to deliver an exceptional experience.
Qualifications:
· Proven Sales Experience: At least two years of sales experience, preferably within senior living, real estate, or healthcare environments.
· Customer-focused: Empathetic interpersonal skills with a passion for providing outstanding customer service to seniors and their families.
· Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage with prospects, families, and professional networks effectively, both in person and over the phone.
· Goal-oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the residence.
· Technology Proficient: Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
· Local Knowledge: Knowledge of the local community and healthcare networks is an asset. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
· Flexible Work Hours: Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate tours and events.
· Travel: Some travel within your local area may be required. Therefore, a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
