Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Deburrer to join our team from Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines with Mazatrol controls. Your proactive approach will help ensure consistent quality, safety, and efficiency across production processes.
Here’s what you’ll deliver:
- Coordinate and prioritize assigned work as directed by the Supervisor to ensure production schedules and quality standards are achieved.
- Operate equipment such as rotary grinders and other deburring tools to clean and finish machined components.
- Deburr and polish high-precision machined parts using hand tools, polishing techniques, and approved chemical processes.
- Inspect finished components to ensure compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and production documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment and tools.
- Perform repetitive manual tasks requiring attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, multitasking, and the ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy materials when required.
- Accurately scan jobs into the Microsoft Dynamics AX system and complete all required production and traveller documentation upon job completion.
- Support production efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
