We are currently seeking a Service Sales Representative - Mechanical/HVAC (ICI) to join our team and take the organization to the next level.
Position Summary
The Service Sales Representative - Mechanical/HVAC (ICI) will be responsible for driving lead generation and sales opportunities within the Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial (ICI) market.
This role focuses on identifying new service opportunities, developing strategic outreach initiatives, and expanding recurring service offerings through Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs, service contracts, and long-term client relationships.
This is a growth-focused role responsible for expanding Nutemp’s recurring service revenue base across the GTA and surrounding regions, with ownership over a defined territory and client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with facility managers, property owners, and procurement teams
- Act as the primary commercial contact for service growth opportunities
- Ensure strong client retention through consistent follow-up and value delivery
Proposals & Sales Execution
- Prepare and support RFPs, RFQs, and service proposals
- Follow up on quotes to close opportunities and gather feedback
- Collaborate with estimating and service teams to ensure accurate solutions
Pipeline & Reporting
- Manage and grow an active sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Identify new service opportunities and key decision-makers within your territory
- Develop and convert opportunities into Preventative Maintenance (PM) agreements and service contracts
- Track activity, opportunities, and performance metrics
- Provide regular updates and forecasts to management
What Success Looks Like
- Consistent generation of new service contracts and PM agreements
- Strong year-over-year territory revenue growth
- A well-managed, active pipeline of qualified opportunities
- High client retention and renewal rates
- Contribution to expanding recurring service revenue base
- Development of a self-sustaining book of service business over time
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Proven sales and negotiation experience, preferably within the mechanical or construction industry
- Strong track record in acquiring new clients, contracts, and business relationships
- Advanced writing and editing skills for proposals and client communications
- Experience with social media platforms and digital outreach strategies
- Construction or mechanical industry experience is required
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Solid understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Creative, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset
- Ability to align with and support company culture and strategic goals
