Job Summary
We are seeking Senior Technology Architect for a long-term client engagement involving the architecture, integration, and implementation of complex security, protection, and detection technology systems.
This role is suited to experienced architects with a strong background in systems architecture, solution architecture, systems integration, infrastructure, and complex multi-system environments.
The successful consultants will provide senior-level technical guidance throughout the design and implementation lifecycle and will work closely with technical, project, infrastructure, security, and operational stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level technology architecture advice and recommendations
- Support the architecture, design, and implementation of complex integrated technology systems
- Develop, review, and assess technical and solution architectures
- Translate operational and project requirements into technical architecture requirements
- Define and review system interfaces, dependencies, integration requirements, and technical constraints
- Assess proposed solutions for interoperability, reliability, scalability, maintainability, and implementation feasibility
- Identify architecture risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges
- Recommend appropriate technical and architectural approaches
- Support systems integration, implementation, deployment, and transition planning
- Produce and review architecture diagrams, specifications, technical documentation, and recommendations
- Participate in technical reviews and architecture decision-making
- Provide technical guidance across multiple projects and workstreams

Candidates must demonstrate substantial experience working as a Technology Architect, Systems Architect, Solution Architect, or equivalent senior architecture professional.
Experience with security, protection, detection, defence, public safety, operational technology, or other mission-critical systems would be highly relevant.
Previous experience supporting Canadian federal government or other complex public-sector environments is considered an asset.
Security Requirement
Applicants must hold a valid Secret security clearance or be able to demonstrate current clearance status appropriate to the engagement.
Candidates with an active Secret clearance will receive priority consideration.
Pay: $85.00-$115.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Canada
