Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Data Architecture
Develop and maintain the organization's enterprise healthcare data architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and interoperability across all clinical and administrative systems.
Healthcare Systems Integration
Lead the design and implementation of integrations between Electronic Medical Records, Laboratory Information Systems, Radiology Information Systems, Pharmacy Systems, ERP platforms, and other healthcare applications.
Data Governance
Establish enterprise data governance standards, metadata management, master data management, and data quality frameworks while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Cloud and Analytics Strategy
Design secure cloud-based healthcare data platforms that support business intelligence, predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, and population health initiatives.
Technical Leadership
Provide architectural guidance to software engineers, database administrators, cloud engineers, data engineers, and solution architects while mentoring senior technical professionals.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with executive leadership, clinical departments, compliance teams, and external vendors to deliver enterprise healthcare technology solutions aligned with organizational goals.
What We Are Looking For
Experience
10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, healthcare information systems, or enterprise technology, including 5+ years leading large-scale healthcare data architecture, digital transformation, or enterprise integration initiatives.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is considered an asset.
Technical Expertise
Extensive experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and enterprise cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Strong knowledge of enterprise data warehouses, SQL, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and healthcare analytics platforms.
Leadership Skills
Proven ability to mentor senior technical teams, lead cross-functional enterprise initiatives, and influence strategic technology decisions across complex healthcare environments.
Communication Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to clinical leaders, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
Mindset
A strategic and innovative problem solver who balances long-term enterprise architecture with practical business needs while maintaining the highest standards of patient data security, compliance, and operational excellence.
Pay: $166,956.00-$237,471.00 per year
