Office Administrator – Temporary
About Our Client
Our client is looking for a temporary (could lead to permanent but no guarantees of that) Office Administrator at their large construction site in Brantford. You will spend the majority of your time onsite in the office but it is on an active construction site. This is currently a 2-3 month role to assess performance.
What You Will Be Doing, as an Office Administrator:
- Supporting the rest of the administrative team.
· Orientation administration
· Administration of our safety app
· Filing duties
· Assisting in co-ordination training records
· Assisting in co-ordination/facilitating safety paperwork reviews such as JHAs/SOPs etc.
· Computer duties (working with outlook/Microsoft suite of software)
· Purchase order requests, document control etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as an Office Administrator:
· Experience in an administrative position of at least 1-2 years
· Preference to those in a construction or safety type background
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check
- Strong communication skills in English is a must
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must have steel toe safety shoes and be comfortable working in and walking in, an active construction site.
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $25.00 - $27.00 per hour depending on experience
- 4% vacation pay accrued and paid out when requested
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
