What You'll Be Doing:
Operational Leadership
- Provide overall leadership and direction for daily operations across multiple service divisions.
- Ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to drive productivity, operational efficiency, and service excellence.
- Accountable for maximizing utilization of crews, vehicles, and traffic control assets while ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations.
- Promote a culture centered on safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Financial & Business Management
- Assume full responsibility for the organization's profit and loss performance.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial objectives.
- Monitor key financial metrics including revenue, gross margin, labour and asset utilization, operating costs, and overall profitability.
- Analyze business performance and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational effectiveness.
- Support long-term planning and strategic decision-making alongside ownership.
Business Development & Growth
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers, contractors, municipalities, utilities, developers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Identify new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and geographic expansion opportunities.
- Participate in estimating, pricing, contract reviews, and major client discussions.
- Develop and execute plans that support sustainable revenue growth and market expansion.
- Act as a visible leader and ambassador for the organization within the industry and local business community.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop managers, supervisors, and field-based teams.
- Build a culture of ownership, performance, engagement, and customer service.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, succession development, and employee retention initiatives.
- Foster clear communication and accountability across all levels of the organization.
- Ensure teams have the tools, training, and support required to succeed.

Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial services, transportation, logistics, security services, traffic management, or a related operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing a business unit, branch, division, or company with full P&L responsibility.
- Proven success leading field-based, service-oriented, or multi-site operations with significant workforce and equipment deployment responsibilities.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, margins, and operational metrics.
- Track record of driving revenue growth while improving operational performance.
- Strong relationship-building abilities with customers, employees, and stakeholders.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
